Hub User Walkthrough/Guide
Purpose
This document is intended to provide a high-level overview of the Hub within Levelpath. It is designed to help new users understand how to navigate requests, pipeline, and dashboards, as well as how to customize and filter views for easier project tracking.
What is the Hub?
The Hub is the central place to manage and monitor your work in Levelpath. It provides access to:
- Requests: Active projects you are involved in.
- Pipeline: A status-driven view of projects (Identified, Planned, Active, Completed).
- My Hub: A customizable dashboard where you can track the metrics, widgets, and tasks that matter most to you.
Users can access the Hub using the Hub icon on the left-hand menu bar.
Navigating Requests
Within the Hub, the Requests tab shows all active projects they are a part of.
- Projects are sorted by creation date, with the most recent at the top.
- You can click directly on a project to open it.
- There are many views and filters to help organize and refine what you see.
- “Hub” icon along the menu bar on the left hand side:
Once users are in Hub, they will see all active projects that they are involved in under the “Requests” tab. The projects are sorted by the date the project was created, starting with the most recent. To access a project, click on it.
There are many views and filter options to choose from.
To change views, click the rectangle in the top left hand corner (pictured below):
Once opened, users will be able to manage their saved views by clicking the “Managed Saved Views” button pictured below.
To set a view as a default view when entering the Hub, select the dot of the view desired for default. To rename or delete a custom view, click the three dots next to the view.
There are a variety of Filters available in Hub for easier navigation through Projects. To access Filters, click “Filters”
Available filters are pictured below. When setting Filters, they can also be saved as a custom view. By clicking “Save as a custom view” users will be prompted to create a name for a Saved View based on the filters chosen.
Additionally, the Hub has customization in the way it is viewed when it comes to Columns depicted. To change the columns shown in Hub, click the column pictured below. To hide and show columns, click the check boxes on or off.
There are many table settings available in Hub. Use the 3 dots in the top right hand corner to Pin 1st column, Reset table, change the table density, and edit the Row count.
Pipeline
Within the Hub, users can also view their projects via the “Pipeline” tab. This tab presents projects based on status: Identified, Planned, Active, and Completed. Users can view aggregate spend or savings. They can also use filters and saved views to view relevant information.
The Pipeline tab presents projects grouped by their status:
- Identified: Blank project with no start date.
- Planned: Blank project with future date associated.
- Active: Currently in progress.
- Completed: Finished projects.
My Hub
The My Hub tab is your customizable dashboard. This space allows you to:
- Track tasks, requests, and projects in one place.
- Add widgets to surface key metrics and activities.
- Personalize your dashboard layout.
- You can drag and drop the 'My Hub' Tab to make this your default landing page.
Widgets
You can choose between:
- Simple Widgets: A default view showing tasks assigned to you and your team.
Start from Scratch: Build a fully custom dashboard from available widgets.
Adding Widgets
- Click Start from Scratch.
- Select from Pre-built Widgets (like tasks due in 1 week, projects without updates, etc.) or Custom Widgets (tables and counts).
- Apply filters and choose columns to configure the widget.
- Click Add Widget and it will appear on your dashboard.
- Select Done when you’ve finished building your dashboard.
The Approvals Widget in My Hub gives users a single place to view and act on all assigned project approvals. With quick approve or review options, it streamlines workflows and saves time by reducing clicks and speeding up the approval process.
Similarly the Invoice Approvals Widget in My Hub gives users a single place to view and act on all invoice approvals.
Once the widget is added to My Hub, any pending approvals assigned to a user will appear in their widget. The approval will be displayed in a table format where the approval assignee can review or approve the invoice with the click of a button.
Users are also able to rearrange widgets to better tailor My Hub to their needs. To adjust widgets, users can select ‘Edit Widgets’, if they have not already done so. Once ‘Edit Widgets’ has been selected, users can drag and drop widgets to their desired location by selecting the dots to the left side of each widget, and dragging it to the desired location.
When you have finished configuring My Hub, select ‘Done’ from the upper right hand corner. The widgets will now be saved as your default My Hub view each time you log in.
