Using the Ramp Connector in Levelpath
The Levelpath x Ramp connector enables teams to request and issue virtual company cards directly within Levelpath, reducing manual effort and speeding up purchasing workflows. Within Levelpath projects, users can also view card details, creating better visibility and control across systems.
Step 1: Enable the Ramp Connector
1. In Levelpath, open the Company Settings menu from the left-hand navigation bar
Note: only users with the 'Admin-Manage Integrations' role enabled can access the Company Settings page.
2. Select Connectors from the list of options
3. Find Ramp in the list and select Connect
4. Enter the required information
- Client ID – Provided by Ramp. This acts like a username and identifies which application is connecting.
- Client Secret – Provided by Ramp. This acts like a password and ensures the connection is secure and authorized.
How to find your Client ID and Client Secret in Ramp:
- Log in to Ramp and go to Company → Developer
- Click Create New App
- Enter a name for your app and accept the terms
- Under Grant Types, click Add new grant type and select Client Credentials
- Under Scopes, choose the permissions you need (for example,
transactions:read)- Once the app is created, your Client ID and Client Secret will be displayed
Note: You must have admin access to your Ramp account to complete these steps. Be sure to copy and store your Client Secret securely
