Docusign Integration
Purpose: This resource will give a high-level overview of integrating Docusign with your Levelpath instance.
NOTE: The Docusign integration is currently only available within the Contracts Project Type.
How do I use Docusign in Levelpath?
The Levelpath-Docusign Integration simplifies and automates document signing, offering seamless management within Levelpath. Enhance efficiency and security with minimal platform switching. Eliminate the need for manual handling and reduce the time spent on document management, enabling a more productive and efficient workflow.
Do I need a Docusign account prior to Integration?
Yes - to connect Levelpath with Docusign, your team can use either:
- individual Docusign user accounts, where each user connects their own personal Docusign account to their personal Levelpath account, or
- a company-wide Docusign account, which connects all Levelpath users in to a Docusign company account
Connect using company account
If your team connects Levelpath to a Docusign company account, a Levelpath Organizational Administrator only needs to set up the integration once within their Company Settings. After the integration is configured, the Docusign company account connection will apply to all users with contract permissions in Levelpath. After a Docusign company account is configured in Levelpath, users will not be able to connect individual Docusign accounts to Levelpath.
Please note, users that do not have Organizational Administrator permissions can only connect their own individual Docusign account - they cannot connect their Levelpath account to a company/shared Docusign account unless it is configured by an Organizational Administrator.
Note: You may need to connect with your IT team to create a company-wide account by creating an email if your company does not have one registered to the Docusign account. (example: levelpath.docusign@companyname.com or integrations@companyname.com)
Any recipients added to documents within Docusign will automatically receive an email notification, which will incorporate the Company Name specified within the Docusign account.
Connect using individual accounts
Users with Organizational Administrator permissions can connect their own individual Docusign account within their Company Settings or within My Preferences.
Users that do not have Organizational Administrator permissions can only connect their own individual Docusign account through My Preferences.
To connect your individual Docusign account to your Levelpath account within My Preferences:
- Select your avatar in the bottom-left corner of Levelpath
- Select My Preferences
- Open the Integrations tab
- Select the Docusign tab
- Click Connect my account and follow the prompts

How do I connect Docusign to Levelpath?
The Docusign integration setup is located in your preferences.
Start by clicking your profile icon in either the top right hand corner or bottom left hand corner. Then, click "My Preferences".
Select “DocuSign"
Once you select “Connect” you will be directed to the Docusign login page where you can enter the credentials for your company-wide Docusign account.
Once completed with the login process through Docusign, you will be able to view the Levelpath “Company Settings” to confirm the Docusign connection.
How do I change the Docusign account connected with Levelpath?
To Revoke a connection, the following steps must be completed with the Docusign account.
You can revoke any previously authorized application.
- In Docusign Admin, select Connected Apps.
- On the same row for the application you want to edit, select Actions > Revoke.
The application will be removed from your organization and access is revoked for all domain users.
