Purpose
This guide provides an overview of how to access and use the Insights feature in Levelpath, including how to navigate default dashboards and reports, and how to create customized versions.
Access Permissions
Only Organizational Admins can access reports directly. However, reports can be scheduled for delivery to users who do not have admin privileges. Details on scheduling are included below.
To access Insights, click the Insights icon in the left-hand toolbar of Levelpath.
Types of Reports
Dashboards
Dashboards present data visually for quick, high-level overviews.
Default Dashboards:
Reports
Reports display data in tabular (spreadsheet-like) format.
Default Reports:
- Activity Logs
- Contracts
- Front Door Analytics
- Hub
- Platform Dashboard Activity (Latest version v2)
- Project Cycle Times
- Projects
- Risk Record
- Sourcing Event Record
- Supplier Contacts
- Suppliers
- Users
- Value Tracking Records
- Value Tracking Records and Line Items
Navigating Dashboards and Reports
Using Filters and Refreshing Data
Each dashboard or report includes its own set of filter options.
To apply filters:
- Select the desired filters.
- Click the Refresh button to update the data displayed.
To show or hide filters, use the toggle button to the right of the Refresh button.
Downloading Reports
- Click the three dots in the top-right corner of the report.
- Select Download.
Scheduling Reports
- Click the three dots in the top-right corner.
- Select Schedule Delivery.
- Set up:
- Report Name
- Recurrence Cadence (e.g., daily, weekly)
- Time
- Destination
Advanced options:
- Apply filters tailored to the recipient.
- Customize the message body of the delivery email.
Creating Custom Dashboards and Reports
To find your customized dashboards and reports, go to the My Reports and Dashboards tab.
Duplicating an Existing Dashboard or Report
- Open the existing dashboard/report.
- Click Duplicate Dashboard or Duplicate Report in the top-right corner.
- Modify it as needed.
Creating from Scratch
- Go to My Reports and Dashboards.
- Click + Create New.
Edit Mode
If starting from a new dashboard:
- Click Edit Dashboard to begin.
- Alternatively, click the three dots in the top-right corner and choose Edit Dashboard.
While editing, you can:
- Choose what data to include.
- Decide how to visualize it (charts, tables, etc.).
- Customize layout and colors for clarity and branding.
Troubleshooting: Reports Won’t Open
Safari Users
- Open Safari > Preferences > Privacy.
- Uncheck “Prevent cross-site tracking.”
Chrome Incognito Users
You may need to enable Third-party cookies in order for reports to load correctly.
